Gang, I just kept my house from burning down. I had a 5 gallon bucket in the garage I kept my dirty polyester filter bags in before i washed them, and when I got home from walking my wolf, I smelled something burning. I opened the door to the garage, and it was smokey. I looked over at the bucket and smoke was coming out. I couldn't open the garage door fast enough and dump the bucket and begin hosing it down with water... I hate to think what would have happened if I had just gone to bed. The stuff was HOT!! The bucket was sitting on the toilet next to the reactor vessel. I know I know.. My garage is junky.. jay.unixwolf.net/images/burned filter bag-1.jpg[/img] jay.unixwolf.net/images/burned filter bag-2.jpg[/img] jay.unixwolf.net/images/burned filter bag-3.jpg[/img] jay.unixwolf.net/images/toilet where the bucket was.jpg[/img]

Good catch!!!
I have seen this discussed before. One guy had his biodiesel clothes washed, dried, and put in the drawer when he smelled something hot. The clothes were not on fire yet but were too hot to touch comfortably.
So far, I haven't had a close call that I know of. Should probably be more careful though.
Thanks for sharing. Clint
