If you are looking for a local company to install an SVO kit on your diesel, I am working with a group that is up and running. We are located near I35 & 635 (north). We are also selling clean VO and are processing WVO at this same location. Over the past year, I have learned a tremendous amount about SVO conversions and have put a great deal of this into our efforts. We use only high quality components designed to reach proper temps and keep your engine operating correctly. From personal experience, I know the shortcomings of other products on the market. I have spent over $600 re-working the $3300 system I had installed last year. Among the improvements: 1) new valves to prevent flushing VO into the D-2 tank at changeover 2) valves defalt to D-2 tank source 3) superior/quicker heating with coolant heated filter and in line electric heating.
If you are interested in a conversion, please email me. We can give you a tour of our shop and I can go over in detail our kits and the options available. We can convert any diesel truck, car, or tractor. Last week we completed a Caterpiller C-12 in a Kenworth so even large trucks can be done. Pricing is highly dependent on options (tank, filter size/type, HE size, controls...) so please do not ask me for a price without first getting all the information about your project. The quality of our components and the equipment we use is top of the line. Don't risk a $3000-10,000 engine to save $100 on valves or $300 on a heat exchanger.
Andy - we can probably arrange a group tour of the procesing plant & shop if you want. We are running a couple centrifuges and a filter housing to clean to 5 micrometers.
