Can you use brass fittings instead of cast iron or black iron? Is there a problem with brass and sulfuric acid, too?
Thanks

I don't remember why any more, but I've heard the same thing (no brass/copper). I'll look tonight when I get home to see if I can find why.
Iron = ok to use PVC = no good, as the high temps can melt it CPVC = no good, methanol will eat it Copper/Brass = no good, will look up why

Iron = ok to use PVC = ok to use, but watch closely as methanol will met the glue CPVC = no good, methanol will eat it Copper/Brass = no good, will look up why Take PVC of the list if hot oil or steam will go trough it. My reactor had PVC on the fumes exhaust pipe and it melted on the first run. Everything is black steel now with the ball valves as the exception. Brass or copper is not recommended because copper will leach and end up in the final product. Copper in your bio may cause damage to the fuel system in your vehicle.
